2016年3月21日，以深圳市常务副市长张虎先生为首的科技合作代表团拜访了以色列最具影响力的综合大学——特拉维夫大学，并与特拉维夫大学校长Joseph Klapter教授、及校长办公室顾问暨亚洲事业发展处处长Orly Fromer女士进行了非常愉快的会谈。访问期间，张虎副市长一行代表团出席了“深圳-以色列科技合作论坛”，并致开幕辞。

On March 21, 2016, the delegation of scientific and technological cooperation, headed by the Executive Vice-Mayor of Shenzhen Municipality, Mr. Zhanghu, paid a visit to Tel Aviv University, the most influential comprehensive university in Israel, where there were pleasant talks between this delegation and Professor Joseph Klapter, this university’s president, Ms. Orly Fromer, Advisor to President’s Office and Director of Asian Business Development Division. During this visit, Mr. Zhang and his party attended the “Shenzhen-Israel Forum on Scientific and Technological Cooperation”, and Zhang made an opening speech.

本次论坛是由深圳市科技创新委和特拉维夫大学联合主办；兰开夏科技（深圳）有限公司、深圳投创汇智科技有限公司、以色列以中科创公司承办；深圳市高新技术产业园区服务中心、深圳市中小科技企业发展促进中心、英国中央兰开夏大学、深圳市科技服务业协会、深圳市创业投资同业公会、汕头大学校友商会、深圳市红顶时代科技有限公司、以色列Sheng-BDO等中外机构共同协办。

Co-sponsored by Tel Aviv University and the Science and Technology Innovation Commission of Shenzhen Municipality (SZSTI), this forum was undertaken by UCLan Technology (Shenzhen) Ltd, Shenzhen Investment & Entrepreneurship Co., Ltd. and Sino Isratech, and co-organized by some domestic and overseas agencies, including the Service Center of Shenzhen High-tech Industrial Park, Shenzhen Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Promotion Center, University of Central Lancashire, Shenzhen Science and Technology Services Association, Shenzhen Venture Capital Association, Shantou University Alumni Chamber of Commerce, Shenzhen Top-Tech Global Co., Ltd., and Israel Sheng-BDO company.

论坛在特拉维夫大学Recanati大楼举行，并由拉赫夫高级经理人教育中心总裁暨学术主任Udi Aharoni先生主持。参会的中方政务团代表还有深圳市政府副秘书长蔡文沁先生、深圳市科技创新委员会主任陆健先生、国际合作处处长朱素萍女士、副市长秘书廖锐锋先生、国际合作处副处长陈颖女士；以及来自中以五十多间企业和投资机构的70多位代表参加了本次论坛。会议期间主办方播放了深圳市宣传片，向参会的以色列代表们介绍了深圳市的科技创新创业环境和政策。作为东道主代表的特拉维夫大学拉赫夫高级经理人教育中心总裁暨学术主任Udi Aharoni先生也做了主题演讲，向中方政企代表团介绍了目前特拉维夫大学在国际学术和科技合作领域的发展状况及先进经验；随后，以色列产业研发中心执行总裁Avi Luvton先生介绍了以色列的科技政策和创新环境。还有来自本土的多位企业代表在论坛上做了主题发言。在商务对接环节，中以两地的代表们进行了深入的交流和探讨，会后，多位参会者表示在交流中收获了十分有价值的信息和商业机会。

This forum was held in Recanati building in Tel Aviv University and presided over by Mr. Udi Aharoni, President of Lahav Education Center for Senior Managers and Academic Director. Among those participating in this conference were also Mr. Cai Wenqin, Deputy Secretary General of Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government, Mr. Lu Jian, Director of SZSTI, Ms. Zhu Suping, Director of International Cooperation Division, Mr. Liao Ruifeng, Secretary of Vice-Mayor, and Ms. Chen Ying, Deputy Director of International Cooperation Division, and other over 70 representatives of more than 50 enterprises and institutional investors from Israel and China. During this conference, the sponsor broadcast the advertising video of Shenzhen city to introduce this city’s environment and policy of scientific and technological innovation and entrepreneurship to Israel's present representatives. Additionally, Mr. Udi Aharoni, representative of the host, President of Lahav Education Center for Senior Managers and Academic Director, Tel Aviv University, delivered a keynote speech to present the current development and advanced experience of Tel Aviv University in the international academics and international scientific and technological cooperation to the Chinese government and enterprise delegation. Subsequently, Mr. Avi Luvton, CEO of the Israel Industry Center for R&D, explained Israel’s policy of science and technology and innovation environment. Furthermore, several representatives from local enterprises also gave a speech to this forum. Representatives from the two countries carried out further communication and discussion in the business matchmaking activity. Following this event, many conference participants said that such communication allowed them to gain valuable information and business opportunities.

This three-hour conference opens a great opportunity for representatives of both sides to launch scientific and technological cooperation between Shenzhen and Israel in the future.
