兰开夏参加英国史上最大的医疗健康访华代表团

2016年12月5日至9日，英国国际贸易部率领将近30家英国医疗机构和公司的代表团参访了杭州、上海、深圳、广州和香港。英国在医疗健康领域享誉国际，拥有世界上最大的综合医疗体系，国家医疗服务体系(NHS)，近70年来持续为公众提供优质的医疗健康服务，包括医疗健康设施的设计和开发，医生、护士、理疗师、营养师、保健人员和管理人员的培训。本次参访旨在与中国同行共同探讨了英国在医疗领域的创新和技术，并寻求投资与合作机会。英国中央兰开夏大学是代表团之一。在深圳研讨会中，英国国际贸易部医疗卫生及生命科学行业副总监Simon Mellon作为主持，英国国际贸易部英国医疗局局长Deborah Kobewka和英国医疗局专家Chris Born等作为演讲嘉宾出席。兰开夏科技（深圳）有限公司也荣幸受邀参加深圳研讨会。来自英国中央兰开夏大学校本部的健康与护理学院国际商务部经理Jackie Day在对接会上，与相关机构、公司仔细洽谈寻找共同合作机会并简要介绍我校本部的健康与保健学院的学历课程和短期培训课程。学科领域包括成年人、儿童和心理健康护理；心理咨询和疗法；危急重症监护等，培养优秀的医生、护士、理疗师、营养师、保健人员和管理人员，正应对着国内养老业人才的缺口和需求。

From 5th to 9th Dec, 2016, Department of International Trade led a delegation of nearly 30 healthcare related UK organisations and companies, visiting Hangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Hongkong. The healthcare environment of UK is renowned with National Health Service – the biggest general service system in the world. NHS has been providing excellent public health service for 70 years, including the establishment and development of health infrastructure and trainings for doctors, nurses, physical therapists, nutritionists, health carers and health care management staff. The delegation aims to discuss the innovation and technology of UK healthcare in the UK with Chinese experts and seek for investments and collaborations. University of Central Lancashire is officially one of the delegates. In the Shenzhen event, Mr. Simon Mellon, HM Consul, Assistant Director, South China - Life Sciences, Health and Social Care of Department of International Trade, chaired the event. Ms Deborah Kobewka, Managing Director of Healthcare UK, Mr. Chris Born, Healthcare Specialist & UK Offer Lead of Healthcare UK and the other distinguished guests, attended this event as the keynote speakers. UCLan Technology (Shenzhen) Ltd was invited to participate in the Shenzhen event as well. Jackie Day, Business, Partnership and International Manager of College of Health and Wellbeing of UCLan, further discussed with potential organisations and companies for possible collaborations and briefly introduced the degree courses and CPD courses of College of Health and Wellbeing. The subject ambit varies from the healthcare of adult, child and mental, psychological consultation and therapy, ICU to trainings for doctors, nurses, physical therapists, nutritionists, health carers and health care management staff, which all meet the domestic current human resource needs.
