Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen (RITS) was established by Shenzhen Municipal Government and Tsinghua University as a base to facilitate technological innovation, cultivate high-quality professionals, explore new ways in cooperation with overseas universities, incubate high-tech enterprises and promote the Second Wave of Development of the local economy in Shenzhen, RITS makes it as her tenet to have a share in building Shenzhen into a metropolitan city and Tsinghua university into a world-leading university, by joining efforts with the government, the business circle and the university. University of Wales in the UK, which was founded by Royal Charter in 1893, is a large and distinctive federal University currently comprising 10 Member Institutions with more than 100 schools and departments, whose activities it exists to support and which are closely involved in its governance. These institutions are: University of Wales, Aberystwyth; University of Wales, Bangor; Swansea University; University of Wales, Lampeter; University of Wales Institute, Cardiff; University of Wales, Newport; North East Wales Institute of Higher Education; Swansea Institute of Higher Education; Trinity College, Carmarthen; Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. ＊整套培训课程经英国威尔士大学评审局评审通过，所有课程均被英国威尔士大学认可，成绩合格者可申请英国威尔士大学颁发的国际工商管理硕士学位，学位授予仪式在英国威尔士大学本部卡迪夫举行；

＊ The programme had been validated by the Validation Board of UOW and the awarded degree is fully

accredited by the University of Wales. Candidates who complete their studies will be awarded International Master of Business Administration in Cardiff by University of Wales.

『学员待遇』Award

①学员完成所有科目学习，其所有核定的课程成绩合格，且毕业论文评审通过后，可向英国威尔士大学本部卡迪夫申请颁发国际工商管理硕士学位，并可依此申请修读国外其他大学国际认可的相关博士学位课程；威尔士大学是中国教育部留学服务中心公布的中国正式承认的英国正规大学，同时也是03年2月23日中英双方签定的《中华人民共和国政府和大不列颠及北爱尔兰联合王国政府及托管政府关于相互承认高等教育学位证书的协议》中认可的院校之一.

Candidates, who have completed and passed the required taught modules and dissertation, will be awarded the degree of Master of Business Administration from University of Wales. Candidates may apply for studying the related Doctoral Degree programmes in internationally recognised Universities. University of Wales is on the list of British Universities recognized by Service Center for Overseas Study of Ministry of Education, and one of the 33 British Universities subject to the Agreement of Bi-lateral Recognition of Degrees between the Great Britain and Northern Ireland and People’s Republic of China signed on Feb. 23rd, 2003. ②学习期满考核合格，全修班学员可获清华大学颁发的《清华高级工商管理硕士课程研修班》结业证书，加盖清华大学教育培训专用钢印和深圳清华大学研究院公章；学员可登录清华大学教育培训证书认证系统(http://thtm.tsinghua.edu.cn)查询；

Full-time candidates will be awarded Certificate of Master in Business Administration with official recognition from both Tsinghua University and RITS. Candidates will be able to login the Education Training Certificate System of Tsinghua University (http://thtm.tsinghua.edu.cn) for enquiries

Student Alumni Association has been established to provide platforms of investment, technology and management for graduates and students of RITS. Gatherings among classes are held frequently to enrich students’ network and provide business opportunities. RITS had already completed 15 programme sessions around the whole country, cultivating more than 1000 students who have been awarded the target degree or are studying. On this platform students are able to listen to the speeches made by outstanding people in various industries and find idea partners.

『入学资格』Entry Requirement

企业负责人、公司董事长、总经理、董事、监事及中层管理人员
   Chairpersons, Directors, Managers and Senior Executives in all industries

1）大专以上学历，具有三年以上高管层工作经验；

College graduation certificate holders and/or above;

2）或具有五年以上管理岗位的工作经历；对业绩突出，在企事业单位担任要职的精英，条件适度放宽.

 Or with minimum experience of 5 years in managerial positions: Exceptions can be given to the outstanding people in governmental organizations and private enterprises;

3）已在清华或国内外其它名牌大学完成高级工商管理研修班课程的学员。

 Graduates who have completed certificate courses of MBA in training providers attached to Tsinghua University and other famous universities at home or abroad.

『课程设置』Programme Module Arrangement

英国威尔士大学工商管理硕士学位论文写作 Dissertation for MBA of University of Wales

学员完成深圳清华大学研究院培训中心所有指定课程的培养学习后，考试、作业成绩合格者可申请进入英国威尔士大学的论文写作阶段。学员须于修读期内完成一篇约20,000字的毕业论文，该论文为60学分。学员可对其任职机构中所遇到的管理问题作研究专题，对工商管理作广泛及综合性探讨，结合理论及应用于一体。为使学员能更充分掌握论文写作技巧及规范，学院会安排学员修读研究方法。

Candidates must complete and pass the taught modules (Part One) in order to proceed to Dissertation (Part Two). Students will be required to undertake a dissertation during the final part of the course. It would not normally exceed 20,000 words and it will have the weighting of 60 credits. To fulfil the objective of providing a broadening and integrative investigation of management, dissertations should provide opportunity for evaluation theory in a practical context with allowance of links between theoretical ideas and practice to be developed. The dissertations will normally be based upon an in-depth investigation into managerial problems normally within the student’s own organizations. The preparation of the dissertation is supported by a (non-examinable) seminar programme in research methodology.

出席规定 Attendance Regulation

每一科目的上课节数不少于该科目总节数的百分之七十五，否则学员将被取消考试资格。
Candidates must have 75% or above in attendance for each module, otherwise, he/she will not be allowed to sit for the examination (except under extenuatory circumstances on a case by case basis only).
