Louis C. Vaccaro has served as president of several colleges, including two interim assignments at Trinity College of Vermont and Georgian Court University in Lakewood, N.J.  He has served as president of The College of Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y., Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan; and Colby-Sawyer College in New London, New Hampshire.

The author and editor of six books and nearly 100 articles and book reviews, Dr. Vaccaro’s most recent focus has been in the fields of higher education and organizational change. Throughout his career, he has been a frequent contributor to higher education organizations in various parts of the United States. During the 1975-76 academic year, he served as chair of the New Hampshire Post-Secondary Education Commission. He later served as chair of the Independent College Fund of New York.
