英国中央兰开夏大学（以下简称“我校”）的“北极光”团队，是负责我校创业孵化器运营的一个核心团队。此次来华团队4人，分别为我校企业与科技创新处处长John Lonsdale博士，媒体工厂孵化器经理Peter Rawling,和企业导师 Lateef Badat和John Duckworth。在处长John Lonsdale博士的带领之下，团队分别出访河北大学和深圳大学。“北极光”团队，具有丰富的孵化器建设服务经验，成员均是具有认证资格的企业导师，已有与众多行业的成功企业家合作的经验，因其高质量的服务而在应该国内备受认可，为英国年度最佳支持机构。我们的导师团队具有丰富的企业辅导经验，可以从各个角度帮助企业，为大众客户从其初始想法、到项目启动到企业发展、以及解决企业的各种战略问题均可提供建议。创业孵化器是近年来一个热门话题，许多年轻人在心中有着远大理想却不知如何着手，而“北极光”团队则会提供尽可能多的信息和机会帮助年轻人建立自己的企业。
The Northern Lights of University of Central Lancashire (UCLan as followed) is a core team being responsible for our business incubator operations. The team came to China in a team of four people. They are John Lonsdale (Director of Innovation and Enterprise), Peter Rawling (Business Incubation Manager), Lateef Badat and John Duckworth (Both are business Mentors). Under the leadership of John Lonsdale, the team respectively visited Hebei University and Shenzhen University (HBU and SZU as followed). The Northern Lights team has a great experience with incubator construction service and partnerships with successful entrepreneurs from all the sectors. Our members of the team are officially qualified and the quality of our service is highly recognized and it's one of the best British support functions. The mentors have a wealth of knowledge and can help businesses from all sectors, giving advice to a wide range of clients from pre-startups to solving strategic problems of businesses with a high profit turnover. Business incubators have become a hot topic in recent years. The young has ideas for their business but doesn't have a clue to take them up, while the Northern Lights will be in a favor of offering as much information and opportunities as they could to help them set up their own businesses.

在2015年 12月2日，北极光团队来到河北大学访问。上午，北极光团队与河北大学有创业想法及已经在创业途中的学生见面，并简单介绍我校的媒体工厂孵化器以及“北极光”导师团队。期间，同学们积极参与到讨论会中并和我们北极光团队的企业导师们进行了激烈的互动。下午，我们团队则与河北大学的孵化器管理层人员及其企业导师进了一次详细的管理和经验分享。与会者表示我校孵化器的管理经验极具借鉴意义，期望通过后续的互访交流能够有进一步的合作。3号早上，我们团队参观了河大科技园、豆芽咖啡屋和以及孵化器内的企业代表，并与企业进行了后续的沟通，并提出了些许建议，同时也结束了本次河北大学的之旅。
On 2nd December, 2015, The Northern Lights team went to HBU. In the morning, they met HBU students who have entrepreneurial ideas and started setting up their enterprises, briefly introducing our media factory incubators and basic information of the Northern Lights team. During the meeting, Students were passionate in the discussions and had great interactions with our business mentors. In the afternoon, The Northern Lights team had a meeting with administrators and mentors of HBU to share ourteam's managerial methods and experiences. All the participants thought the managerial experiences of our incubators were worth learning and being used forreference and they looked forward to having further operations by sequential communications. On the morning of Dec 3rd,The Northern Lights team visited HBU hi-tech park and Yaker Maker Space. They met with the representatives of incubators, having a follow-up communication with them and giving advice on the enterprises. Finally, it came to the end of the trip to HBU.

在2015年12月4日，我们的团队带着期待和热情来到了深圳，并为深圳大学开始了约为三天的课程培训。此次活动是由我校与深圳大学联合发起，旨在促进两校在创新创业方面的交流。 4号早上，在深圳大学的大学生创业园多功能厅我们举办了活动开幕式，并邀请深圳大学科学技术部主任文振焜、副主任徐艳丽、深圳市虚拟大学园培训部主任陈蓉博士、深圳市科技服务业协会常务副秘书长许宁、我校企业与创新处处长John Lonsdale博士、企业孵化器经理Peter Rawling和兰开夏科技（深圳）有限公司总经理彭丽思、大学生创业园主任殷涛、副主任陈一鸣共同为“深圳大学中英科技创新孵化器”进行了揭牌仪式。
On 4 December, 2015, The Northern Lights team came to Shenzhen with their passion and expectations, starting three-day course in SZU. This course was launched by UCLan and SZU altogether, aimed to facilitate innovation entrepreneurship communications between two universities. On the morning of December 4th, we held an opening ceremony about Shenzhen University China and the UK Science and Innovation incubator in the multiple-function hall of SZU Business Park. We invited Wen Zhenkun(Director of Science and Technology in SZU), Zhang Yanli(Deputy Director of Science and Technology in SZU), Dr. Chen Rong(Training Supervisor of SZVUP), Xu Ning(Shenzhen Executive Vice Secretary of Science and Technology Service Association ), John Lonsdale(Director of Innovation and Enterprise of UCLan), Peter Rawling(Business Incubation Manager of UCLan), Peng Lisi (General Manager of UCLan Technology (Shenzhen) Limited), Yin Tao(Director of SZVUP) and Chen Yiming(Deputy Director of SZVUP).

为期三天的课程由3名企业导师主持，包含“创意——商业规划和模拟”、“大声说出来——营销与公关”、“挣钱”三大主题，通过座谈会、小组讨论、集体问答等多种模式与同学们共同讨论创业过程中的各种可能障碍。与会同学均对此次授课表现出极大的热情，对我校导师随和、幽默的授课风格，互动式的授课方式和生动的案例分享印象深刻。
Our three mentors gave a three-day course to SZU students, including The Big Idea-Business Planning and Modeling, Shout About It-Marketing & PR and Earning Money. Students had a discussion with our mentors about potential difficulties in the process of entrepreneurship set-up through forums, group discussions, Q&A sections and etc.All the participants had a numerous passion in this course, and had a great impression with the amiable and humorous atmosphere, interactive teaching methods and vivid cases sharing.

五天的北极光团队的南北之旅随之也完美落下帷幕，此次培训极大地提高了学生们的创业热情，促进中英双方的孵化器交流，同时也宣传了我校媒体工厂孵化器以及“北极光”团队。在接下来的2016年，我校也将继续会优化培训课程，增强团队核心力量，在南北两地进行更多的培训，更大地促进中英创业者交流，为中英双方的孵化器发展做出一份贡献。
The five-day trip to China was a complete success. The courses have exceedingly aroused students' enthusiasm, facilitated the communication about incubators between China and the UK, and promoted UCLan media factory incubators and The Northern Lights. In the following year of 2016, UCLan will be enhancing the curriculum plans, improving our core team, providing more lectures in the North and South of China, leading to further exchanges among China and the UK entrepreneurs, and making a huge contribution to the development of incubators between China and the UK.
