The Virtual University Park possesses a strategic union which consists of more than 130 innovation investment companies, medium agencies and professional associations with annual convening for ¡°Interactive Negotiation-Meeting on Projects among Government, Industry, Universities, Research agencies, Financial Organizations and Medium Brokers based on Shenzhen so as to promote the co-operations among these organizations with positive exertion of the government¡¯s functions.
So far, More than 222 projects transformations have been realized in Shenzhen. By the end of September 2005, 276 enterprises had been founded in Shenzhen by universities or research institutes, with registered capital nearing to 1,900 thousands Yuan.
There are ten projects of various National scientific or technologic plans undertaken by the on-incubation enterprises from various incubator agencies in the Virtual University Park. 50 projects were listed among the ¡°Key Projects Plans for Combined Development by Industries, Universities and Research Agencies based on Shenzhen in year 2002 and 2003¡±, which account for 60.2% of the total planned projects.
